A couple months back, MangaDex was hit with a big DMCA. A few major publishers told MD they needed to take down a list of series which some people theorize is in the hundreds.

It was over 2,100 titles. Frankly I'm surprised a series like this (licensed from Kadokawa and printed by Yen Press) wasn't caught up in the purge.

Yeah I've read a bit of her previous mangas (the Victorian era maid one) and I couldn't get past the first chapter. Idk how to describe it but all media set in England in that time period feels so claustrophobic and restrictive, like just look at the difference b/w western and eastern clothing, in the east they're wearing long, loose, flowing clothes in the west they're wearing clothes that stick to your body women wearing corsets stuff like that, plus the cities being so congested.

Plus even if we do remove all of that stuff it's still boring nothing unique or interesting about that plotline.
The vibes of the manga was what drew me in in the first place so I hate all the England parts, it just detracts from the more interesting stuff.

It's so weird to me that her work is no longer in Harta Magazine. I wonder what caused the switch to the Kadokawa main branch. And how that then fell apart. Publishing is such a weird business.

I'm surprised Kaoru Mori has any trouble finding a magazine that would publish her manga... I thought she was a fairly well known and successful mangaka.
