I would like to see a story like this expanded, like, an otaku boy and a girl met up in the first day at their new school, they get along due to their hobbies, but at first it seems purely platonic, but they start hanging up more, they have events like this maid cafe, they go on "dates", probably befriend other students, otaku boy could be a little chubby at the start and starts going to run with the girl because she has a tomboy/athletic streak, they start gaming together, and so, and romance start to develop gradually.
