I just read all the raws (24 chapters) and glanced at the web novel it's based on.
Pretty good and consistent storytelling quality. I like how cautious the MC is. 24 manga chapters covers 94 novel chapters, largely because there's a heavy psychological narrative and other details that's mostly cut.
That said, the MC is still
not trying to stand out or be heroic in any way, despite being super-powerful... clearly has some degree of depression, likely due to isekai PTSD
so it feels like a real slow burn. Looking at the novel, the novel isn't proportionately that far ahead of the manga either, and the release rate has slowed down to a trickle in the past couple of years (maybe since the author focused on the print LN... or maybe they lost their motivation) so I'm not too excited for its long-term potential anymore, even though the plot element set-ups make it feel like it has a fair amount going for it, like everything that happened in the isekai, the origin of the curse, and certainly the MC's deliberate character flaws. But it currently feels like it wastes time meandering over the complex feelings between the MC and the people he helps.
