Thank you for the scanlation. I thought of the Dr. Strange meme when the MC, Kazu was hovering in front of earth. So Yui is a regressor too, but from a magical-Sci-Fi world instead? I hope she tells her story to Kazu instead of keeping hidden for 10+ chapters. So far Kazu is sort of boring, right now I'm more interested in Yui's backstory, but I'll wait for more chapters as it's too early to tell what character development is in the works.

Ok, so in Ch1 it felt like there was a lot of "generic" elements, but at the same time an inkling of something unique with the art/violence, and in this chapter we get even more so in the unique category with the reveal immediately and the "not damsel in distress" trope fully. And it's not a gate series.

Curious where we're going on this one.

I haven't read the web-novel. On page 43 in chapter 1 Yui's thoughts say she hasn't held hands with Kazu in a long time. And on page 18 in chapter 2 she thought: "It's way tougher than the robots we fought during training". Both of these lead me to think she's a regressor & possibly from a magic-sci-fi world along with her fighting skills. Unless I've missed something, she shouldn't know magical jutsu to defend herself against the vampires/demons let alone keep a calm mind.

I just thought she hasn't held his hand since the childhood.

And on page 18 in chapter 2 she thought: "It's way tougher than the robots we fought during training".

I thought "we" mean she and other member in the orgonization she joined, maybe, it's just my assumption though

These are clearly names from old norse mythology, but valkyries are supposed to be some kind of angel equivalent serving Odin, and Gungnir is Odin's spear, so if one is evil, then wouldn't both be?
