I'd like to add on this comment https://mangadex.org/thread/5101/4#post_45770, which basically suggests to disaggregate the "Follows" counter into Reading, Completed, On-Hold, etc. as well as the ratings into 10, 9, 8, etc. (the rating disaggregation is already planned). He also suggests a separate tab for these stats (similar to MAL):

Here's another suggestion: Show the ranking of the series (popularity and rating-wise) as time progresses. One way to do it is the mangaupdates way (like a record chart):
Another suggestion (this is probably less realistic and requires much more resources) is to have a graph of the number of views per day as a function of time. Anilist does a version of this:
though you can probably make the time step something like 1 week and the span to be 6 months for interesting trends to appear.
