For those of you reading it, what do you think would be a good workaround for something like this? An english equivalent is kinda difficult without taking a lot of liberties with the script. Maybe just a small (Lit: nameru) and (Lit: namero) at the end of the sentence? Explained on a separate page? Small T/N note at the bottom? I'm curious what you guys think.

Translation wise, a translators note works best. Otherwise, you gotta localize and do something like "don't get testy" which she mishears testy as tasty, etc.

Nah, Sou's innocent good hearted nature is why this version is so entertaining compared to the R18 version in my opinion. If he started going after the girls like the other one then the entire premise of the comic is gone. It's literally in the title; he thinks it's "surprisingly normal". He's oblivious to what's actually happening and that's the joke.

So what I did with this word play was: on page 3 I made him say "suck up to me" instead of "win me over" so that when Kanaria said "suck mine" it made a bit more sense, capisce?
