Hinata is such a great character, truly best girl. I do think that Hinata is the central heroine of the story with how compelling and deep her character's passion for Sou is. I love how she matches Sou in how "abnormal" they are - Sou is abnormally comfortable around girls, and Hinata is abnormally unique about what she wants in a relationship. I do think that in a way, Hinata's desire for Sou is more intimate than the other girls, who just want to have a child with Sou, whereas Hinata desires Sou more than anything else.

Spoiler: 18+ Spoilers

This is echoed in the Adult series, where Hinata has most of Sou's "firsts" in the adult series, she is the first to give fellatio, she is the central force behind the threesome, and she's the first one we actually see passionately kiss Sou. It makes their relationship much more romantic and balanced - while all of the other girls are so open to Sou, Hinata is a bit more mysterious, and Sou is often left wondering about her and is much more curious about her.
