From an in-universe PoV he hit his head and woke up without common sense.

What I now cannot wait for is him hugging classmates only for his regular guards to arrive mid-hug with, I dunno, Classmate A.

You gotta admit though the class trying to put him at ease is really sweet.

The one who hates him the most possibly second only to Yuri he now sees as basically his best friend. I do love me some dramatic irony.

Edit: so I went back and checked and her smile is even different from Sou's PoV it's a gentle happy smile, but in the original chapter she's going full Furude Erika
