If you look at the otaku middle schooler's rants, Sou basically acts like a 2d character from their POV. He acts like a husbando from one of her guy games; and like a particularly implausible archetype too. It would be like if the most hentai-logic'd up girl from like something like To Love Ru came to life and just started walking around our world. Note a lot of people flat out have a hard time believing Sou can exist until they see him for themselves.
