Well, I would create small what-if DJ's if I could draw stuff myself.

Since I lack the artistical skill (can't draw at all) and have no time to learn either that's about all I can do.

There's only so much the author can do because he depicts Sou as a faceless protagonist.
That or it's the author's fetish.
