Small tidbit about Pizarro, IIRC (I may be talking out of my ass, please hold with me) Pizarro was lucky enough to arrive at the Incan Empire during a succession war, and he took great advantage of it. He was supported by the Huancas, the Chankas and the Chachapoyas, because they were against Atahualpa.

That's sad, learning about the Constantinople conquest by Mehmed II was definitely one of the most interesting parts of history when I was a kid. Would've loved to see his antics
