sad that the anime don't have the same energy when he left the party,the anime have no emotion whatsoever its so bland. i'm crying on my basement with kids

Seems like the rest of the Anime didn't lean into the energy of most of this chapter. MC is depressed/nervous after leaving, 3 heroines have alot more going on with their interactions.

What led me to believe that was page 36, where he said he was underestimated for 20 years.

It's narration, but yes, it is a very misleading statement.

The new receptionist looks really pretty.

Because I'm not strong enough? Didn't you quit the job yourself? I don't know, I guess it's partly that, but I think it's more correct to say it didn't pay enough or that supporting them costs more than it pays.

You know, that cliche of "I'm not good enough", even after quitting yourself while knowing you're not appreciated, sounds kinda ridiculous. But after the whole Selen/Dokibird, Pomu/Mint situation with ex-Nijisanji employees... Gaslighting does work to a worryingly degree.
