Also I love Rain's cute reaction when she bumps her head against Silk's should on page 11.

To be honest I thought this was going to go...
And this is my piss pot! Piss contains saltpeter, an important alchemical ingredient, that can be used to make black powder. My supplies are running low and before we progress further I would like each of you to to take turns using the pot. I also use it to make meals on the fly.

It's hard to believe that a lantern that can make a whole class half-obsolete like that is not common knowledge, and a mage with buffs that effective are the class considered worthless.

Then again, I guess MC's former party doesn't really have a Thief so maybe they're considered useless too?

if the world was an RPG world like theirs is, a supporter like him would be invaluable, being able to buff people above their current limit.

The anime pulled it off much better. Made the teammates look much more competent beginners trying to learn rather than whiny, spoiled amateurs

The problem with these stories is that there's no way that an A or S rank party wouldn't understand the importance of team composition. They would understand how each person has there roles and how important those roles are. These stories always has a dumb team leader and an MC who somehow doesn't know how much he contributes to the party and is somehow surprised when he is better than what he thought he was. How would a mage that's part of a high level party not know that the spells and alchemy's he uses are rare? It feels like every MC in these stories are just pulling a homer.
