Extreme Violence...THAT'S IT!
VIOLENCE IS THE WAY!!
Ha! Fat chance. Nearly all villainess stories eventually devolve into reverse-harem building and cooking/territory managementhopefully there won't be any romance
what's also weirdly stable about this particular otomé subgenre, is the villainess is a ducal daughter fiancéd to a prince. I can't remember seeing one where the villainess is a foreign princess, or a count's/earl/viscount/baron/etc daughter. Or even something outside of fiancé, like the prince's sister trying to keep the 'commoner' who is not good enough for her brother. Always a duke's daughter. And always paired with a prince (sometimes crown prince).I'd say almost majority of them, public humiliation for villainess by publicly annulled their engagement or condemnation/banishment seems part of the "villainess" genre at this point, if your engagement annulled or condemned in the public like that, it's definitely Akuyaku Reijo genre, of course with few exception for shojo/josei demographics that is, for shounen/seinen Akuyaku Reijo like otomege mob, or villager save villainess started with main male protagonists viewpoint that either want to save the villainess or getting involved by certain circumstances, and of course that public annulment scene still exist.
