it could be interpreted as a power move, tbf. like "here you go, you little baby, since you have the bratty palate of a 5 yo, i made special food for you. Ain't I mature and kind?"Was told it's patronising and putting on airs when prepping food like that when going out, doing separate portions for so's taste habit resulted in scolding that it's "controlling" and "treating someone like a child"... I'm kinda, puzzled...
Didn't elaborate, sorry.it could be interpreted as a power move, tbf. like "here you go, you little baby, since you have the bratty palate of a 5 yo, i made special food for you. Ain't I mature and kind?"

When so's was little, biological "mother" force fed spoiled food with pieces of rot, mold or tiny pebbles, if refused was beaten, she had drinking problems and mental issues.
As a result, didn't touch anything with sprinkled greens (dill, parsley, sprouts, etc) or if it had tiny additives (raisins, dried fruits, grain, seaweed, etc), immediately had fear-issues or gag reflex.
But as you suggested, my care was seen as "parenting" nevertheless tho'
