No I kinda support him here. If everyone has rejected him and never really gave him affection or whatever, he would definitely be attracted to someone, anyone, who accepts you. Poor guy. The girl that rejected him is fucking petty.
@dddictionary Come on, how is her rejecting him petty? So she should just go out with him even though she has no romantic feelings for him? That's even worse.
But even though she rejected him she was still his childhood friend so it's not petty to care about him when he's clearly showing signs of having his life sapped out of him. His male friend, that girl, and even his mom is clearly worried for him. Him still thinking he's alone and unloved in that state is honestly being kinda blind.
@Walter_vi_Britannia I didn't mean like oh she should've gone out with him, but more like her saying people still love you and you still have good points while being the same person who rejected him, her words sort of hold no value. Also he kind of says it himself, only in this situation, when the joy of his life is with him and he is happy, are these people trying to show affection to him. He is justified to hate them and think he is alone and unloved. He is already blinded by his lifestyle of being rejected and sort of outcast, so you can't blame him for acting in such a manner.
@dddictionary Yea, I understand that he's depressed and finally found happiness so he's angry the people who care about him are trying to take that away from him. But realize that it is coming at the clear cost of his health so his friends are not at all in the wrong for trying to do that. Cause to them there really is something creepy and horrible happening to him that they have no idea of.
Though I guess I get where you're coming from. You're saying that she has no right saying he has the necessary "good points" to get a nice girlfriend when she rejected him. It's just that you worded it in a way that made it seem like you were saying she was petty for rejecting him and still caring about his wellbeing as a friend.
