Did they say the JP suffix -chan in the raws?
Just use the thai ones tbh.
STOP LOCALIZING NON JP KINSHIP TERMS INTO JAPANESE SHIT IT MAKES ME GO BANANAS AND RUINS MY FUCKIN IMMERSION.

I've seen this happen with Senukin localizing Vietnamese kinship terms(which are incredibly easy to memorize and pronounce) because somehow people couldn't be assed to open up a wikipedia article or maybe a tl note to let people learn it over time?
Like if it keeps happening they will forever be obscure because some fuckers Japanized it instead of laying a foundation for people to understand. Just because we're on a manga site doesn't mean you should Japanize shit when it's not Japanese.

You don't see this happen with Manhwa translations, so IDK why this only is a thing with translating SEA comics.

Blyat translated his name to Kao Oat (direct phonetic) at first but I changed it to -chan to better capture an intent of the speaker that she calls Oat in a feminine tone.
Thank you for the contribution and I'm terribly sorry I didn't see this earlier. We'll make sure to include this in the new chapter update's note.

It's ok, I just hope that one day people will be used to SEA honorifics as they are with KR/JP honorifics and the effort has to start from somewhere.
