Also, TLN-san from the previous chapters already hinted that there will be a repercussion to the vice captain because of his bad attitude towards Fia.
Now it looks like this is that repercussion...

Also, i wonder how they will handle Fia. This story is focused to female character and progress as a female character.
You may notice that within the military, Fia acts cute, which is definitely a no-no for the male perspective.
Also, Fia talks to her superiors without giving a welcoming salute which is unbecoming of a real knight/soldier.
Well, this is a female perspective so accepted...
