Yeah the young sister is spoiled but the older sister choose in advance before anyone could ask her to marry the winter dude. She already knew her fiance was about to cancel their engagement. She choose to do that.

Athanasia certainly seems to have seen through the Earl completely. Certainly didn't have any right to get mad about her seeing through him and making the preparations to break the engagement before he brought it up considering the way he explained made it seem she's not a good-hearted woman or capable of love along with him being more interested in Lillian. As for Lillian she's acting like a muscle brained idiot who carves their thoughts in stone, no matter how right or wrong, and a spoiled child who has to get her way. Likely the etiquette class isn't the only class she's constantly truant for. Calls someone never met a monster and chastises her mother about a castle she considers cold and desolate which she's never seen either. Furthermore, doesn't even defend her sister from her friends gossip when she knows it isn't true.

Cause in the beginning, she ripped out her sword and brandished against herself against for being against political marriage. But when her friends bad-mouth her sister, she gets all tongue tied.

But at the same time i see your point. As she does seem , to be trying to convince her sister to not marry either. She's trying to defend her sis but at the same she doesn't want to be aggressive to her friends.

After reading through all the translated chapters i get that her sister is too pure and spoiled in that regard. She has no hostile intent but she doesn't realize her actions are causing hostility because she is too much of a saint.

Its clear that the MC realizes that, and tried to help her sister in the background. She willingly allowed herself to become the "evil lady" to help her sister, family and friends.

I don't find the younger sister particularly hateful. I resent that she's the golden child everyone loves while our MC is villified without evidence or reason. Just where are those strange rumors about her coming from? They require mental gymnastics to keep afloat.
