The two sisters have different approaches to help others, but only one is aware of it. It's too bad they don't work together. They would've been unstoppable.

I hate self-righteousness that is based solely on ignorance. How can you claim the moral high ground when you refuse to even listen to your own sister? How can you claim to be saintly when you refuse to recognize that everyone has their own circumstances and reasons?

Not her saying they can’t see eye to eye when she doesn’t even put the effort in to hear or try consider anyone else’s thoughts and side of things🤡

Wow, everyone in the comments is just worshiping at MC’s feet. Lillian may be ignorant and childish, but the main reason why MC is misunderstood is because of her lack of communication skills. That doesn’t make her a bad person, but it’s still a flaw (which is ok because characters need flaws. It’s just so predictable that everyone is screaming about how perfect she is.)

could someone please punch the lights out of that girl... like repeatedly for a couple of months, just long enough for someone besides her gaining a hand in the families finances...
afterwards she can go back to her rainbows and unicorns

@tinavy
the main reason she is being misunderstood is because the public loves drama and her sister took the role of heroine and since every heroine needs a villain and no villain would be more dramatic than a close relative of the heroine the mc was cast for that role...

lillian is just a dumb stubborn idealistic chick grown in a golden cage thats not a reason to hate her or make the mc a villain
neither is the mc's apparent lack of communication skills as the effects of her actions are always positive all that was needed was for someone to take a stand or closer look but since thanks to the mc live was good the public looked for entertainment rather than ability or results and thus wanted to be swept up by that aristocratic daughter talking about equality and emancipation thus casting her as a herald of a new age a heroine

why do i think their live is good? see that snot nosed brat and his mother not waiting to talk before the mc is out of earshot? thats a lack of people being executed for les majeste or a very liberal enforcement of archaic rules and law
if peasant people in a medival fantasy setting worry more about their lords daughters instead of their next meals or their heads staying attached to their necks then live is good

as a rule of thumb for any society or age if the majority of people across all layers and groups is more concerned with others outside of their sphere of influence than about themselves and their ability to live then life is good

lol, if we see from the conversation with FL and Countess, the so called saint is just all talk but no action, while the evil lady is all about action but less talk.

And here we see, the economic gears that will turn for this event will do far more for their territory than any amount of free bread ever would have. The kingdom is losing more than most know.
