I'm kind of surprised this is a Chinese manhua, the writing doesn't immediately make me think so. I'm used to seeing the awful abrasive writing of wuxia where the stories are populated by survival of the fittest power is justice silver tongued devils, who savagely get revenge and treat everyone like shit if they won't gently nestle their nape under my heel, their lives are disposable any ways unless they're a bootlicker than maybe I'll act like I'm nice to them until they're no longer useful mc's.

I also tend to not look at where the comics come from, but the second I noticed that these are barely half the length of what the Koreans do, became obvious it is Chinese. They always make their chapters a lot shorter, but this feels jarring for a comic like this, when all other usually are double in length. If this was Korean, she would have arrived at the Duke's place in chapter 3, not 8.

I'd like to see how Lilian's plans are going to be crumbling once she realizes that without her sister's support none of her charity drives or "acts of good will" will even be viable without the monetary support and web of connections that she's been relying on.
