Others have suggested time travel, so I'll go with her being in an alternate universe.

Well, guess we'll just have to wait and see.

This is a popular theory in the fan base so you're not that crazy. At the moment we don't have the necessary info to say for sure if she traveled back in time or not.

Worth noting her dad has 2 beard braids in chapter 1, yet this dwarf has 1 braid.

Could be a different dwarf, possibly related to dad (brother? Father? Grandpa?)

Hmmm... we saw a glimpse of some darkness in her right there... desiring war just so that her craft can become valuable again... that is something else.

That glimpse is something we've known from the start, as that's quite literally the reason she's where she's at now.
People are speculating time travel, but honestly it feels like the more reasonable answer here is that Abandoned is that world's Hell.

I was thinking it might be more her healing might have a corruption effect. All those demons were being made just from being infused with it in those jars after all. Judging from the fate of the one dude that was healed from pieces and turned into a blob, the jars the Demon was using to make minions might simply be something that helps set the shape.
Add in the fact that she was able to control all those artificial demons made by infusing her mana with her own will at the end, her ability might be much more sinister than just unlimited mana.

She might actually be the next vessel of the demon king, I'm betting.

idk about yall, but i assumed at chapter 1 that she wasn't simply teleported to abandoned, but that she was also sent 1000 yers back in time to when the hero was alive, and so far i haven't seen anything concrete to disprove this.

if we're going by that theory then, the following question arises: given that her dad is a dwarf, and their longevity - is this her actual dad who travelled all the way here to find his daughter? or is it (assuming this is set in the past) a younger version of her father from way back then?

(i figured by now that i most likely simply misunderstood the setting, but let me have my theory before it gets shattered to bits next chapter)

This is what I believe too. And it makes sense, so I think you theory will actually be confirmed. Her teleportation was explicitly done by someone who wants her to change the path of history or sent her back to ensure it happens.
