not if its possession/corruption, then they do make an earlier appearence to show how far its progressed

I did not expect to meet Dwant again this soon, but I agree that the point has to be made very clear very early on that messing with the demon lord's power/ body/ corpse means death. I guess for the rest of the journey we will keep going, defeating each piece of the demon lord like this?
