There are two main hero’s in this one. The firefighter (for obvious reasons) and the kid. Imagine trying to forgive the person who left you behind to die in a fire (even if they didn’t know you were in there) and judging by the perceptive we see perhaps the kid even saw the firefighter running away, that kid is a real trooper for forgiving the person who killed him (even if it was unintentional)
