He is such a control freak.
The way he told her she should avoid exercising in class in freakish and bad. He basically told her he made the full decision for her and even told the teachers for her.
Also even with her falling asleep in the car in chapter 6 is fishy. What was he doing with that hand? Explain that instead of just saying "you fainted".
And if you want to be trusted, prepare to trust. With reason (a little secret you don't want to share shouldn't impact the overall trust, but a bigger secret can totally do it.)
Also planning something around someone without telling them anything, isn't keeping them safe. It's the reverse. It's putting them in avoidable danger. It work's only when you want to use them as a disposable bait (that by itself doesn't scream trust)
Also a minor nitpick, but overall when you live in a covert setting, you take the newbie and explain to them.
In this case he should have approached her during break of after school, and saying "hey hi, YY told me you were here and decided to put us in a fake brother sister relationship, to avoid having to explain stuffs we may want to keep for ourselves"
Not throwing the setting upon them without even allowing them to know it.
