Present tense: “I lay the book down” “I lie in my bed” “I lie to the police”
Past tense: “I laid the book down” “I lay in my bed” “I lied to the police”
Past participle: “He had laid the book down” “I had lain in my bed” “I had lied to the police”

‘Within the werewolf's eye lay “the Demon's Formula”….’ (Notice that, because the ellipsis is intentionally terminal, it has four dots.)

Maroma likes what Shion has under the hood.

So much so she became the what under her own hood.

Possibly a V8.

Maroma car
The only thing missing is a beep beep!

I'm already sold; this manga is awesome. The art is can be wonderful, chaotic, and eerie whenever it wants to be. The characters are amazing. The world is just cool. Not to mention the energy, for lack of a better way to describe it. It's just fun!

Maroma running across the water as a car was hilarious; the leg tires shows that Maroma really does not think about stuff; truly without rhyme nor reason.

Shion is a dorky tsundere; in other words, a tsundere done right. She was so glad when she got to talk about her jacket! It's sad that we'll probably never see her in that jacket again.

Speaking of Shion, what's going on with her dead mother (chapter 1 says "your late mother")? I assume the portrait at Keek castle this chapter is her dead mother. What does her mother have to do with her mysophobia, for instance? Shion is a vampire who can't drink blood...

There are already so many different factions. Azami and Usyuki seem to be working together. Yomugi is a bit of a mystery; she doesn't lead her own group and looks very plain, but I'm sure she's up to something. I wonder what drives each of the vampire sisters, as well as why Shion is clearly different from the rest of them. Shion is also working for this Doctor person and probably has been for almost 10 years at this point; why would she do that?

Finally, I wonder if we'll ever revisit the man in the morgue or the Count. The Count was a mayor and had a bunch of underlings, and the man in the morgue clearly had something going on. Both of them are really interesting mysteries as well.

Overall, I have so many questions. Absolute cinema.

Its funny that the author decided to nerf Maroma's clearly overpowered reality warping capabilities by making her dumb as a brick in the best way possible, instead of making me annoyed like in the average manga its really adorable.
