Kindof important because it seems dumb in both ways that people are given powers and they jsut decide to NOT train them at all because they are bad, like the power to heal yourself is a big deal even if you arent strong to go into deep adventures. But also if you jsut get to pick classes in a setting where there is a whole caste system around them makes no sense.

It was explained in the first chapter that they dont have the leeway to focus on training themselves, since they have high threat generation and all their healing being next to useless in actual combat due to the magic interference nonsense. He also mentioned healing accessories and potions were much more reliable

Forced setting but not impossible, think it like dish washer or waste worker. No one will ever make a course to master in those category, yet it is still needed profession in society today.
