I kinda had a feeling something like this would come up when they parted last time. It was like "Oh, you'll be seeing me again real soon." Wasn't expect the instantaneous "Nah dude, I'm good" for that job offer, though, it felt like transition to that different work might've been where the story was going to leave off on.
