I'm confused as well, she mentioned they broke up, she mentioned he had another girlfriend, and she also mentioned he's indifferent (The opposite of love is not hate because hate is still influenced by the presence of the other party, it's indifference. Going to one you most care about to not caring about them at all)... and the teacher came out and said "the reason for his problem is that he wants to break off peacefully"? Granted she didn't mention to the teacher that he dumped her, but still how did the teacher infer her answer from what was provided?
