Advanced setting for minimum container width on images

I run in long strip mode, and always have, to me it feels better being able to scroll down to the next instead of needing to click any buttons except when changing chapters, and I would very much like to be able to continue with this.
Now that the legacy reader (RIP) has been murdered I've looked into the new reader, unfortunately as someone with some visual impairment the sizing of the chapters is a lot more frustrating to control in the new mode. In the legacy mode simply zooming could change the size. While the same resizing is achievable through the "No resize" mode, it also makes the large pictures no longer fit to the screen size, thus making the images get off center. Resizing for height is out of the picture, as it usually makes the images even smaller than they were initially. Finally the width scaling can force the end user to not have the window maximized since the size will just be too large, not only that, the lack of margins in the fit to width makes it even more unappealing visually.
By allowing the end user to have the images resized to fit their needs you could make the new reader be more accessible for people with similar disabilities as me.

I hope you will consider my suggestion, and I'm sorry if this has already been asked, the lack of a search function in the suggestions makes it hard to see if something has been suggested that isn't listed in the Planned and Rejected Features post.

EDIT: Sorry if it not, I can't quite understand what your problem is.

I suppose it could work for the purpose and just having to open larger pictures in a new tab to see them, but it was more about letting people choose an interval allowing for the large pictures to fill the entire screen while the smaller pictures are only resized to match with the minimum if they're below that size.
