In English publications, usually Korean names are written in the original order, with the family name first and the given name last. This is the case in Western newspapers. Koreans living and working in Western countries have their names in the Western order, with the given name first and the family name last

~ Google "Korean name"

Why in the world did the name order switch again? All along he's been Kim Hee Woo, suddenly Hee Woo Kim. Just stick with the original (Asian) order, sudden changes just confuses your readers.

Edit: Kim Hee Woo in 96, then became Hee Woo Kim in 97 98.

Ugh, should just stick with surname-first name order, reading manhwa/Kwebnovel is just like watching K idol/drama/variety show

Imagined YJS said "Hello, I'm your MC Yoo Jae Seok" but the sub was written in "Hello, I'm your MC Jae Seok Yoo" :v uhmmm... just (bit) uncomfortable to read

@HanzoMain556 I'm aware of East Asian naming conventions. My question was more about why it changed from the previously established convention of this series? I.e. Surname Given Name to Given Name Surname.
