I looked over the guidelines but I didn't see anything related to AI. Is there a blanket ban on the use of it?
I've been messing with it as a little hobby and have been using some chapters from here. If I end up with a chapter colored with AI, is posting it as a "fan coloring" allowed?
Assuming it is allowed, what are the actual guidelines toward "fan colorings"? Does the full chapter have to be colored for it to be allowed?
Some panels aren't the easiest for the AI so I've just been putting them aside. And with one series I've been messing with only partially coloring the panels for stylistic reasons.
I'm also not sure about the censorship policy. I've been "removing" the censorship with the AI, but when talking about uploading I don't want to violate any lines. And just to be clear "removing" the censorship is probably more accurately described as replacing it or filling the space in.
Naturally this is all under the assumption that the original uploader gives permission.
Though on that note an additional question: Provided a series doesn't have entries due to being taken down, if no one else is currently translating would an AI translation, of any sort, be acceptable? Every once in a while I've had to translate a raw series uploaded somewhere else just to read it at all. The translation quality is about what you can image, but if it's the only way to read the series I've come to accept it. Does this site?
