@hazzack you hear something beginning to walk torwards the door an then the sound of a shotgun goes off and you can see splinters come out of the door. Next you hear explosions go off and some bear traps. Your not sure what just happened in there

my ears are ringing, what happened.

i do basic body check. would be bad if something of me accidentally blew off.
i then try to assess the situation.

A quick run over of your body shows nothing hit you no pain that’s good at least. But your not entirely sure what happened inside. But the only thing that seamed to take damage was the door it’s self which seems to have taken a shotgun blast as you can see some splinters coming off at various places

what in the hell.
the door now has holes!
crap! i know this is a bad idea!
but i can't turn back now.

i try to reason with whoever inside the house.

you don't hear any more movement inside after trying to reason with anyone inside (if there is someone inside) and you decide to actually try opening the door which turns out to have never been locked or jammed in the first place. as you do a rather gory scene is layed out in front of you theres (formerly) walking corpses dead every where and theres explosions marks around a table in the middle wood fragments are scattered around them, bear traps which have been set off by said formerly dead corpses near the windows ,and a shot gun trap in front of you that was set off by another formerly walking corpse on the ground in front of you. @hazzack

oh god. that was embarrassing.
did i just talk to a (formerly) walking corpse.
"oh freaking walkers"
i hate walkers now.

that said, this series of loud noise will surely attract many kind of monsters.
anywhere near here is not safe.
i need to get going.

i hurriedly move to the hardware store.

As you head around the house deciding to leave anything inside to the walkers and head around to the front of the hardware store behind it. Your confronted by a police blockade or rather what’s left of it and the robots they used currently distracting nearly 50 walkers. There are a swarm of eyebots. Flying cameras with tasers attacking the walkers. Nothing seems to notice you. @hazzack

this reminds me of my elder brother back home.
he's a cop, well, at least until he busted his knee.
still, he's a good person.
i hope they're okay.

that said, police blockade means police equipment.
i'll get inside the store while those flying eyebots got their eye to the walkers.

While you quietly open and close the door as the walkers are all trying to swat the eye hits out of the air your faced by lines of what appear to be empty shelfs already. There might be something hidden about in the shelfs. It’s rather dark though as the only windows are on the front of the store. there is also a check out Counter in the corner with a register. as you glance behind into the walker horde again it seems that the eye bots are winning as you can see a couple smoking walkers on the ground and still a bunch Of eyebots flying around.

this place might be safe for a long time.
i put down my backpack. equipping myself with a pole as weapon.
i check the checkout counter out.

It is empty only use for the counter would be to take it apart for wood and parts. @hazzack

As you walk between the empty shelf’s you managed to find a couple left over tools and supplies. @hazzack

no its just that he has refused to loot every kitchen he has encountered so far

My favorite so far is how he found an obviously stacked house.
Got lucky not to get shot, with a convenient entry point in front of him.
All that, just to turn around and look somewhere else.
