"Gerbura, Any evidence of space vampires sucking the plasma out of drone reactors?" 👾
"Also I'm picking up evidence of a SMES drifting near engineering, but it has no ID number, and still no trace of Maulkuth."😕
" Did anything turn up in the Security logs?"

“Angela I didn’t know you could be anymore crazy. Yeah neither am I happy at the lack of Maulkuth, I miss her. And security logs are well to put it lightly more fried then the center a neutron star.”

"Being crazy keeps me sane Tacky!"😋

Asks the RCD drone group where the mining station they were constructing was in relation to the ship, and how they traveled to and from it. Was the station manned by humans? Was there a unmanned drone transport shuttle craft of some sort? Because if it was a manned shuttle did the humans attempt a rescue mission, or did the shuttle crew just ditch them in a debris field and head back? 😕

Has the salvage drones, and sensor drone hunt padding materials from seat cushions, and mattresses.

Checks database for details on the material and structure of the XDCD drones armor. Is it metal plate, or a type of composite ceramic plate?

The station was constructed in orbit of a asteroid field at the edge of the system. It was intended to be manned but hadn’t received any crew to operate it. The drone transport shuttle was unmanned and was destroyed by shrapnel resulting in the stranding of most of the onboard drones.

They don’t manage to turn up much aside from a couple lockers of extra lab coats

The XDCD drone is quipped with a basic and light titanium and steel alloy shell to allow more movement. Remember XDCD drones were destined for rapid deployment and to be quickly swapped out for more efficient but slower defenses after stable bases were set up.

you know I kinda wish other sessions went as well and as long as this one

Have the drones test a bit of the lab coat fabric with the bug goo on the XDCD drone. (If we can remove the worst of the accumulated goo, the remaining goo may lose it's potency faster.)

Still no luck finding a hazardous material spill response kit? (OSHA would have a field day with that shop!👹) 😅

The goop quickly starts to eat away at fabric but after a bit the goop turns from black to green becoming neutralized. It occurs to you that the crew may of never thought to wear clothing and instead used armor which is such a momentary lapse in reasoning it makes you pause.

I also consider the possibility if the lab coats are made of a natural fiber, the goo may be more potent and effective on metals, and inorganic materials. Or the material could also be treated to act as a intended line of defense to be used by the chemistry lab techs.
Have the salvage drones carefully drape the XDCD drone with the lab coats while shielding themselves with the cloth in the process.

The labcoats are set in place and quickly after they begin falling away revealing the XDCD drone to be cleaned of the gunk although larges patches of missing armor are still left over from the gunk.

Have the sensor drone look it over carefully checking for untreated areas. And check for deep penetrating damage into the substructure.

I run some simulations in my head to evaluate the weld-ability of the titanium alloy, and patches fabricated of more commonly available plate armor in the robotics facility.

It appears that the gunk did little more the taking apart the armor as the main structure and supports of the armor are still intact.

While possible it would still be much better having a skilled roboticist repair the shell

The number of zeros appear a bit off. (Me---1000 miles---> RCD Drone---2000 miles---> Magnetic Field) 300000 miles from my location? 😕

OOPS! After looking further into the past posts I realize I was mistaken about the distance between my position, and the RCD group.
I suppose this would be more accurate:
Me--- 3000 or 4000 miles--->RCD Drone---2000 miles---> SMES
Me---- 3000 miles---> SMES
So the SMES reading is the same distance from me as the RCD group? 😕

Runs simulations to determine whether the XDCD can chaperone Salvage drones like a Sensor drone.

With the mind meld between the XDCD, Myself, and the Sensor drone, Would that make up for it's lack of training?

Maybe maybe not you can’t tell that level of thinking is starting to put a bit of strain on your processors

I have the XDCD, Sensor, and Salvage drones survey the robotic facility, and tunnels to check for more unpowered or damaged drones, and locate the power utility systems for further evaluation.
While doing this I've also tasked them with the objective, of cultivating the XDCD Drone's sensory projection, and salvage drone supervisory skills so hopefully in the near future I can send it on missions with just a couple Salvage drones for assistance.

I check the data bank to get more info on the lab coats, and try to determine whether the neutralizing effect was designed into that particular textile, or if all the ship's textile products are made of the same material with the same effects on the bug goo.
(Hindsight's 20/20 they say! 😤)

Check for more info on the mining facility under engineering. Did Maukuth also supervise off ship mining operations?

Check to see if the unmanned shuttle the RCD drone group mentioned had a SMES that would not be listed in the ship component registry. What type of controls did the shuttle use? A onboard AI, or a shipbound AI, or flesh & blood pilot via remote link?

well since were now out of basics and into proper game a single post is gonna be a day in game now

The salvaging Of the robotics wing takes over a week judging by the sheer size of it from the outside
Today’s salvage
————————

Robotics wing (94%)
############
Drones assigned
2 sensor drones
1 salvage drones
############
they managed to recover 50 sheets of steel and 50 sheets of glass stored in a small storage locker
A small S.U.P.E.R.P.A.C.M.A.N generator is found although it is empty of uranium
10 sheets of silver are found in a secured box
A small intact processor bank is located in a storage room
2 robotics printers are located right next to your core

Maulkuth was in charge of off ship mining facilities

The shuttle was controlled via Old style ai and did not utilize a ai even classified as gamma level. The shuttle would contain unmarked SMES although if it was you would’ve received a name instead of an Id number and it simply didn’t return any kind of Id

Has the AI DM reverted back to the era of MS DOS now? 🤖

I'm rationing posts till I can come up with a viable strategy. 🧐

sorry it’s just a habit for this also I’m working on a actual ai to run these so I’ve been bleeding both styles.

Proposal we have a day only pass after you lock in choices and state pass the day then I give the results of choices
