Huh so an ability to make your body guard feel an immense amount of pain when you choose. I hope this contract comes with something else besides a way for this bitch to satisfy her sadism kink because it seems remarkably unhelpful. I mean sure it would stop him from just attacking you head-on the second you leave the city, but the female MC is a warrior and has decent odds of just being able to kill him if he tries that and it doesn't seem to stop him from just slitting her throat when she is asleep and making a run for it. Regardless wouldn't it be a whole hell of a lot easier to like offer him freedom at the end of this adventure and tell that if he runs off or she dies that all his friends get killed.
