I'm not sure if the story supports it or not, but I wouldn't be surprised if Rika never had sex with anyone else since marrying Sousuke, and that everything was part of her plan. Maybe Shingo was drugged himself and he only thought he was having sex with Rika. Because after all the twists and turns turns the mangaka might thing that the best plot twist would be Rika having been "faithful" to Sousuke all along...
And, as far as I can remember, Rika was never shown explicitly fucking someone else...

I agree to a certain point. Rika's goal is true/ultimate love, finding her soulmate. It's hard to guess what the author's belief on love is. It's debatable. Love views vary and in today's world, it can boil down to the feelings you have for a person.

Those butterfly's in your stomache, always thinking about that person. And in some cases those feelings are mutual and so people get married because of those feelings. But those feelings of "love", honeymoon phase, and infatuation don't last forever.

-Even in a marriage you can experience the same feelings of "love" for a person outside your marriage/spouse. The most dangerous emotion that leads to most damaging affairs is called Limerance. You put yourself into a strong delusion that prevents a person from thinking logically anymore. Nothing matters anymore, except your fantasy (unrealistic) life with your affair partner. Most romance stories that glorify/justify affairs are always fantasy/delusions people come up with and 95% of the time, never truly lead to a happy ending in real life. Most people, after commiting the deed, get shocked out of limerance (grass wasn't greener on the other side) and immediately regret it.

Now I'm going to explain what love is according to the examples we see from Jesus's Christ's Teaching/example of love from the bible [Note: I'm not here to debate if God is real or not here. This is just for reference from a religious point of view of what love is].

-Love your neighbor as you love yourself. Treat your wife, children, family, friends, and strangers as you would want other people to treat you (with love). Helping one another. As much as you would hate someone to lie, curse, and betray you....you would do your best to not do that to others. That is loving people.

If you catch feelings for someone (Co-worker, family in-laws, your neighbor ect), because of your love for your spouse/girlfriend/boyfriend/friends, you would cut/minimize contact with that individual because you are not willing to hurt your spouse or destroy your family because of your selfish desires. Just as you would want your partner remain faithful to you.

Love in Marriage is commitment to stay with each other during your best times and your absolute worst times (If it's physical/sexual abuse get out!). Until Death does you apart. It's a promise/vow you make to each other on your wedding day.

While it would be a huge plot twist (I also thought of this) that Rika never had sex outside of her marriage (as of this chapter even while engaged) with Sousuke. This would turn Rika into a Yandere character who's sole devotion and obsession was to guarantee that Sousuke would never cheat on her, even to the point if he was ever drunk/drugged. Because Sousuke would only sexually desire Rika but that would also mean Rika (Yandere) is only sexually attracted to Sousuke and cannot have sex with other people neither. Or her tendencies make her capable to have sex with others if it helps her goals to ED sousuke from other women.

Narcissists have a distorted/selfish version of attachment rather than empathetic love. Which is why I think Sousuke's story might be how to escape a toxic marriage that involves children. And the mental repercussions he will have once leaving it.

This also shows that Rika would have no qaulms of getting pregnant from another man before marrying Sousuke. So highly likely if Iwabachi could have had sex with Rika then and there. Sousuke would have been raising a daughter that wasn't his own. Which what I know some of us, including myself, were suspecting.

Sorry. I'm not really agree, yes Rika is madness and her goal could be a vague. But she still move with plan and logic that why she could reach this state what we know now.

And if you could remember when akiba brought up about Shio that she could be hate her mother, Rika always try to avoid it, i assume Rika trully love Shio, so that mean about being pregnant not easy feat for her. Also if we call back what shiratori said, not many men could sleep with her, that mean the men with her is not random, but someone she choose that mean also all her ex before Iwabuchi. So that why, if shio is Sousuke and Rika child, Rika had choose Sousuke for it, then is more easy for her to pregnant with sousuke again than other man. And also i couldn't think the goal she became pregnant with other man if she still want with Sousuke (not want divorce).

Possible, but dissapointing. And not too far from whaat has been shown. The thing is that, even IF it happened, the correlation between causeXeffect from her deeds, along with what Sousuke knows so far, still puts her at a story disadvantage.

At present, she can pin all the blame unto Iwabuchi. Even the starting point from Momonga, and that she blackmailed Shingo into helping her with the channel( not uncommon) and advisoring Shiratori as part of a bussines strategy. Play the victim.->

Sousuke doesn't believe her. He saw her at the happening bar, and heard her at Motorhome. Moreover, he knows about her from Shingo and Misato's stories. And IF( a big IF) he manages to listen to Iwabuchi's story, then her description also matches the previous 2, and he knows she went to a hotel with another man( although they didn't have any intercourse). She's putting up a front. ->

Rika can, then, present the card of lack of evidence. There's no evidence she helped Shiratori, Momonga's gone and the entire Ura aka server is deleted, so no evidence she cheated on Sousuke. Also no photo of Misato to attest a blackmail against her. Even if Sousuke knows the truth, he can't use it, nor push it against Rika. Testimony alone won't save him. ->

Sousuke, however, has seen the stories of people destroyed by Rika, so many and so scattered to be a coincidence. Though he doesn't have evidence, he knows who he's dealing with now. And possibly only falling for an instance of "giving up on this fight" and accepting that, what he has now, is what he must go forward with. But getting back up, because he went so far, and losing with only a missing piece(the reason Rika did all of this) doesn't seem fair to anyone thus far, not even himself. ->

I join way late in the discussion, so I never read any of the chapters from 20-60. So I'm missing a ton of information and dialogue between the characters thoughts of one another especially about Shio. So I appreciate any correction or additional information so I can further contribute to these discussions.

-That is why I also assumed Rika was willing to go this far to sacrifice her obsession with social media because Shio told her to do so in chapter 1. Iwabachi being on the front center of her social media circle meant she would have to take drastic measures to take him down to get rid of her secret account.

-I wanted to comment that particular video, in my opinion, is a drugged Sousuke and Rika performing for a momonga video for clicks and views tagged as adultery. Maybe this is also the video where she and Sousuke concieved their 2nd child. Of course Sousuke would lose all of his memories of that encounter.

Also, she is a very good actor/performer if you can see how many people she's managed to fool and manipulate around her.
The perfect loving housewife, an adulterous women, a business women, a villian, and more. Heck, she can probably pull off acting as a hero at the end of all this. Which is the real Rika? That is the mystery.

Of course, that is why all of her videos that involve her is just her acting very convincingly. Adultery videos are profitable. Her faking them isn't hard. The hard part would be to convince Sousuke to take part of the fake Adultery video. We know for a fact he wouldn't do it willingly....but maybe his alter ego (his inner Sousuke while drugged) is more than capable of partaking in it.

Well, considering her behaviour during the manga's run...she isn't. Misato can say that Rika is obsessed with Sousuke, but even Akiba can pinpoint that Rika is more tied to his role as her husband than ultimately love. And also, she disappeared for more than 3 weeks, leaving Shiho alone with Sousuke, so their first chilldren is already at a loss. Their second shouldn't be too far off, following that logic.

I copy/pasted some info from an old post i made in another thread, but here you go:

• We later find out she has more than 80M Yen in a secret bank account;
• She has sex with Sousuke over whos gonna be filming Shiho during the sports festival;
• The next target is Kamizaki, who works in a bank;
• During the sports festival, Sousuke and Akiba find out Kamizaki, as with many other parents, is a victim of Ryouga Shiratori, a teacher at school has sex with wifes, while their husbands film them. All while the 3 wear masks, to hide their faces. This is to give the couples child references, so they can go to better schools;
• He also uploads these videos in the internet, though properly censored;
• Sousuke and Akiba infiltrates this bussiness with the help of Matsuo Jin and his wife, Senna;
• Sousuke and Jin are caught by Kamizaki and his wife( while not reporting this directly to Shiratori), while Senna, who was a bait herself, fails to lure Shiratori;
• While keeping up appearances, so to not raise suspicions, Akiba is approached by Rika, who wishes to talk to her at a later date;
• Jin manages to free himself, but while trying to save Senna, he falls to a trap by Shiratori. Upon the critical moment, the bell rings, and Shiratori is forced to free them;
• With the situation at school coming to an end, Sousuke and Akiba sets a plan to lure Tsutsumi, Shiratori's girlfriend, into helping them;
• She agrees and records a fake sex video with Sousuke( who himself wears a horse mask similar to Shiratori);
• Shiratori breaks and goes looking for Tsutsumi, to learn why she did it;
• Before their talk, Sousuke appears and interrogates him about Rika;

• While spying, we see a side of her not shown until now, openly talking about sex, lust and engagement content( even going as far as saying some women enjoy rape);
• She enters a room with Shingo and Shiratori is left outside. Akiba is caught by some guys and Sousuke miss his chance to bust Rika trying to save her;
• With the plan failing, they decide to recruit the help of Shingo's wife, Mitsuri;

• The both settles down and starts a video call with Akiba, Shiratori and Tsutsumi, to orchestrate a plan to catch both cheaters in the family spa trip of the PTA;
• During the trip, the team( and a little help from Shiho) manages to open a breach for sousuke to steal Shingo's pouch, with and SD card inside;
• While checking the SD card contents, Sousuke sees raw videos of sex between Shingo and Rika;
• Breaking down even more and telling this to his friends, Sosusuke see another couple cheating;
• When going to their respective rooms, Shiho asks to play with Tsubasa( Shingo's kid), leaving Sousuke and Rika to take a bath together in the ofuro;

• With the pieces set and Mitsuri keeping Shingo in a leash, Sousuke departs to face Rika, but not before checking the SD card again;
• The videos are all gone, save for an old one of Shingo doing a different girl, while saying made him do it for training;
• When entering the room, Shiho delivers a note of Rika, saying she will be sort some things and return later( with a lipstick kiss);
• The team searches the entire spa, but does not find her;
• 3 weeks pass and Rika has not returned home;
• During a conversation, Shiho asks Sousuke to keep searching for her mother, while calling her grandmother( Sousuke's mother) to help in the House. Shiho also thanks Sousuke for their time together, saying she loves him the most;
• Sousuke decides to get back to his hometown in search of Rika's parent's house;
• While travelling, he meets his childhood friend Misato, and she helps him getting to the address;

- Rika's parent's house has been sold 10 years ago, and now there lies an empty piece of land;

• She reveals that there'll be a class meet, where Rika could be probably going too;
• Sousuke retcons that, from her 18 to 22 years, there's a blank part about Rika's life that he doesnt know about;
• During a series of twists, he ends up staying in Misato and her sister's, Satsuki's trailer;
• Satsuki tells Sousuke that the house was referenced by the people as the "whore house". Neither sister knows why;
• During his stay, at later night, Sousuke is approached by Satsuki, whos asks for sex, instead of money, as compensation to keep him;

Sousuke starts grasping the reality that something really bad happenned, since he's feeling their feelings of discomfort regarding the subject;

- When going back to their motorhome, Misato drugs him, strips him, and starts filmming with him, saying she's "the whore's friend";
- Sousuke manages to stop her from doing the deed and she explains her story;
- During college, Misato had financial problems from her parents/sister, so she went to Rika for help. Rika broke Misato into investment fraud, and Misato started earning a lot of money. During this time, she was approached by Iwabuchi, a man who was representing a victim, and wanted compensation, otherwise he would go to the police. Misato sent a nude and that was it...until it turned out it was a lie, and Iwabuchi used the nude to blackmail Misato into prostitution works;

• Also after this, Misato found out Rika's secret account. Turns out, during her college years, Rika was engaged to Iwabuchi. Misato quickly understood she was set up since the beggining, went to Rika for some explanations and Rika confirmed it. While asking about their relationship, Rika confirmed that she loved Iwabuchi and Iwabuchi loved her. He fullfils her;
• Rika explains that her goal is to feel Ultimate love, because a life without fun is just boring;
• In the present, Sousuke understands even less of her, as Blackmailing Misato and cheating on him with Shingo seems to lead Rika into a path contrary of love, hate;
• Misato also points out she doesn't know if Rika is still close to Iwabuchi, since she married Sousuke. Also, Iwabuchi still asked Misato for some jobs, but this one came specifically from Rika, "to target Sousuke and create a video of adultery";
• They receive a call from Rika;
• While stalling for some time, while receiving threats, Misato manages to "fool" Rika into thinking there was a video, but couldn't send it due to file size. Rika threats her with scattering Misato's nudes and ending her socially;
• Also in the call, Misato asks why'd Rika ask for that, if she was married to Sousuke, wouldn't it be simpler to just divorce? Rika's response was that she needed this video of Sousuke to achieve her goal of true Love;
• Near the end of the call, Misato, a village broadcast starts playing. The calls ends with an ultimatum from Rika, "tonight". Sousuke perceives that the broadcast could also be heard from Rika's side of the all, meaning she was somewhere in the town. The chapter ends with Satsuki not believing how her sister was compromised, and saying she will muder Rika;

I want to write interesting part i've found in this chapter. But i think better to wait @Kalimaman to write the spoiler first. This chapter make the end of this series become uncertain again i think. Depend on how Rika would explain and prove about this mess. Sosuske - Rika still have big chance to together again.
