Well nikimaru is still bad with rendering skin, it's just so uncanny. Even though nikumaru's line art is so clean.

Looking at volume cover the rendering looks great but weird it doesn't work with some colored pages.

This chapter really describes the French quote "Quand le chat n'est pas là, les souris dansent" (When the cat is not here, the mice dance)
Yeah, the author is probably still trying to figure out what their big mystery for the story will be since everything just keeps jumping all over the place.
Only thing we do know is that the college guy didn't want anything to do with her after she said something to him. Whether she told him what is actually happening or made it up, who knows, but we don't know anything.
As for her being in sex work...I doubt that will be the case UNLESS whatever is happening has caused her to want to run away from home and her only option for what she can do is sex work. That's about the only way I could see that happening.
Otherwise it could just be some stupid family drama thing that she doesn't want any part in, but reluctantly has to because her family is overpowering her own will.
It's like it's being rendered like cloth rather than skin, almost like the character is wearing clothes that have the exact same skin color as them.

Yet another chapter proving Yako to be the best girl that could happen to MC. Its a pity he seems to be bi-sexual but only for Takt, and have a thing for Shizuku, but then one could argue, at least he will only hurt best girl by not choosing her, instead of fucking her mentally up while dating her or something?
