I'm thinking that his bestie is actually gay for him and the two are going out as a non-aggression pact to make the MC decide. They haven't actually done any couple stuff. That's the only way the serialized story makes sense other than she's being blackmailed or arranged marriage that somehow MC doesn't know about. It's stupid, but it's definitely typical romance manga high jinks bs

I'm mostly here for the reason why she's acting like this... and ofc, the fanservice.

Honestly, I don't typically read stuff like this but for some reason I ended up falling down the rabbit hole and now something has grabbed my legs and is pulling me deeper.

I see the original pilot is a bit spicier and trashier than the already spicy chapter 1 of the serialization, they even used the (arguably) "cheating while on a phone call" trope; right when Shizuku was physically teasing Riku, trying to cross lines she had no business crossing. Also, Riku and Takuto look different here.

well, i don't really use mangaupdates, and this upload was only because some friends that read the serialization wanted to check the one shot, but no english TL was released, so i did it for funsies, thx for the sugestion tho!!

You know when you find a bizarre picture or short video on the Internet, and you are super curious to figure out "how things reached this point?", so you start to look for a longer version, hit some news articles about it along the way, and ends up spending 3 hours digging into that hole? Yeah, that's how this manga feels to me. And I'll keep digging until I get some kind of explanation...
