now this is just silly. this story had some potential but the author keeps taking the easy way out, butchering it left and right. It's just a buildup of drama with no real consequence, nothing's actually happening with significance to the story. I thought it was gonna be about two friends' conflict over their love for the same childhood friend, and the complications this would have on their relationship as they're on the precipice between adolescence and adulthood. What even happened to the graduation countdown?
Turns out it's just another harem manga with empty drama. Silly drama. Characters exist as some troped up story devices with little to no humanity behind them. What a shame

Bro you really should be a horn dog to say something like that, the fact that he didn't do anything doesn't mean he's gay or something like that 💀, it's just that the mc probably didn't want to do anything because he respects her. She's blackmailing him to help her get back together with Takt by him taking Minase away from him since it appeared that they already had something going on anyways. To have the hidden goal of trying to get together with him in the process doesn't make any sense whatsoever for a couple of reasons.

First and foremost, at this time she doesn't think she has any feelings like that for Riku. She's insisted on this and even states that he's her onii-chan. Even after the blackmail when he's sick and she goes to kiss him, when going to test her feelings she stops and thinks how she doesn't want anything to change between her and him.

Secondly, to have him get closer with Minase to get her and Takt to break up would be counter intuitive if the goal was secretly to get him to have feelings for her instead.

If she didn't do that he would have just shoved Umimi away. Like he did before.

He never shoved her away though? He did block a kiss in the family restaurant, but that was her testing him.

If you mean in an emotional connection sort of way he didn't do that either. Not once have we seen her past-self make any moves on him, the whole reason she started dating Takt in secret was because of how fondly Riku spoke of him and she began noticing Takt because of it.
