I have to say, after all the meandering this does, it ends on a really odd note. Not exactly a cliffhanger, more along the lines of, "wait, really? The emotional payoff for this sudden new development, would have been the chapter(s) after this, why is this stopping here?"

Otherwise, it should be said that 80% of the plot is stuff that happens after one of them becomes a celebrity, and it turns into more of an idol romance. In doing so, it re-treads territory that has been done to death and I'd have to accuse it of being a bit aimless, though it at least isn't actively bad or offensive.

this very much felt like it was wandering around looking at different tropes on a super market shelf and putting things back in the wrong place. what happened to the other model? i couldn't help but continue to think that he would show up again. in that last chapter i didn't realise it was the end. i had originally read this in the hope of watching the childhood friends to lovers blossom but it happened in a matter of pages ! it felt like i was reading an idol romance without the stakes.
well, this wasn't bad though! i'm glad that they seem happy.
