failing to become a shin'uchi after someone from your rival's school pulled it off must've been a hell of a gut punch, that development alone has me way more invested in what Kaisei will be like this arc lol

Issho looking evil as hell in that last page was so good too, truly the mentor/antagonist of all time

all that said, I do hope we get to see that trio event Akane wants to plan with Hikaru and Karashi lol, I'm grateful those two are still active in the story and hanging with Akane after the Zuiun Cup and it's just fun seeing them all interact with each other (the chibi akane drawings when she'd get mad at them were really cute too lmao)
