was wondering why they chose now to highlight Maikeru again when he wasn't around in-person, the reveal that Zensho's busting out the story that got our boy to Shin'uchi is really fun lol

I know she's not the focus but I love how haggard Akane looks this chapter, can tell that whatever she heard from Kaisei's really putting her through it. Makes it even more fun that Zensho has provided such a shock to the mood of the event like this too, feel like she needs to witness something this ridiculous to get a mental reset before we deal with whatever Issho throws at the crowd. Almost feels like it's building off Maikeru's hope that Akane would have more fun with rakugo? She was def finding some of that in her Shinigami performance but I wonder if there's more for her to discover there yet... I'm not cheering for Zensho here but it's hard to not wanna see what he can teach her as another student of the previous Shiguma with his own storied past
