It's interesting how despite her winning over Akana before, she still thinks it is undeserved. The same goes for Karashi, as much as he wants to say how good he is, both him and Hikaru chase her back, every time the make a breakthrough Akane comes back to show them what they SHOULD be capable and what effort looks like. They've seen Akane at her worst and still perform phenomenally. Now, to them, and to Kaisei, she looks like a monster barrelling through, she's stepping on Kaisei's heels and she presses hard. Meanwhile, Akane mulls over her inadequacy... she's tried so much and she still has nothing to show for... she has to show she's good and that's to beat her Arch-rival. Everyone around her has already figured out the kind of Rakugoka she is, and you bet your ass Issho WANTS to see her crush his world, like a masochist, rather than the sadist everyone thinks he is.

This series is so fucking good. And the battle begins at 200. I can see the author rubbing hands that it all worked out how they wanted to.
