there's 3 ways to use spirit power (SP):
detection - exactly what it means, use SP to detect things
manipulation - using SP to enhance the body and move your body even when you're paralyzed/crippled
reijutsu - basically ninjutsu but with beads
MC spirit power is packed in him instead of floating around like other people, so even when he shouldn't be able to use manipulation, he can still move his body.

the father is more complicated than I first thought. It seems he does care for the sister too, in his own weird way. Also, by having her in prison, he's hiding her away from any other potential danger, while also using that as motivation so that MC will work harder, that's super shrewd lol
