lady yon-hi's last wish is for lord yu-hon to kill kashi and yona
that is why she said her last wish cannot be forgiven by the gods. maybe she thinks killing both will save his son sowon from the curse of the illness since yona is the crimson dragon. maybe lord il knowing the one who killed his wife and trying to kill yona is his own brother also plot something that led to lord yu-hon's death and sowon knowing all this also kill lord il leading to how this story have started oooh🤔

@m4ng4_4n1m3 er... no, you've completely misunderstood. Yonhi's final wish was right there on the page before; she wished that she, Suwon and Yuhon would be together for just a little while longer. She didn't get that wish because Yuhon died. Yonhi LIKED Kashi, she never wanted her dead, they were friends.

“Yu-Hon just goes too far for the people he loves!”

He... *checks notes* slaughtered priests... including... children?

You guys are nuts.

@Mira995 In chapter three or four, Yona is shown as little girl trying to console Il who's weeping miserably for Kashi's death.

The reason we don't see them acting as a lovely couple is because we never see them acting as a couple at all, because both studiously avoided Kashi due to her being married to Yu-hon. Seeing this from Yon-hi's perspective can't tell us much about what each one felt for the other.

We do have Kashi's dodging the question of whether she was happy the previous chapter, but this is no smoking gun, since she was on guard with Yon-hi.

@NoSoup yeah and Yonhi is aware of that too, which is so sad because she shouldn't have to feel guilty for existing when of all people, none of this was any of her fault.

Regardless if Yu-Hon was behind Kashi's death or not he was still an unredeemable piece of shit.

I feel like the author is trying hard to paint every character in a morally grey light but i think she went just too far with Yu-Hon actions, i can't believe there are people who seriously believe he's in the right.

even if there are hints that kashi died because of yuhon......... what if yuhon is actually not the one who killed kashi and another group that wants separation between two factions are the one responsible? for example, the maid and keishuk might be belong into the same group. their objective is of course to make yuhon the king.. or rather, suwon.

@Lux To be honest, I felt weirded out by any comments putting Yu-hon in a good light when this arc started, knowing what he had done during the war in Xing.

It's interesting that Yon-hi concludes King Joo-nam chose Il because of what Yu-hon had done to the temple and its priests, but that's just her point of view. It might have well been because Yu-hon was too violent to be king.

I think Yu-hon killed Kashi, that's why IL killed Yu-hon and the cycle repeats. First time out of the castle and then got killed by rebels? That would be insanely unlucky.

@Kendama exactly. Yu Jon is beyond forgiveness. It's obvious that he never thought things through for anything.
I don't think he killed Kashi, but I have a feeling his underlings had something to do with it.

Il on the other hand, it's so obvious why he always had his guard up. None of the ppl supported him and everyone around Yu hon were so against him becoming king.

Why ppl think Il is a bad guy is beyond me.

Dang.. my girl YonHi just can't get a break... she's so wrapped in YuHon's love that she's not realizing how many people he killed for the sake of "protecting" his loved ones.
He does love his own brother as well, but his hatred for the Dragon King is blinding him and twisting his love.
If only he let go of that, with YuHon as the war general and Il as king, the kingdom would've been formidable.

Yu-Hon definitely arranged for Kashi to be killed. Il found out and he retaliated and killed Yu-Hon. Which then caused Soo-Won to continue the cycle of revenge. Yona is breaking it by not killing him.

He definitely set it up for Kashi to be killed or had some sort of involvement and, I think that il either returned the favor or sent him off to battle because he couldn't stand the sight of him anymore and he died at war... Honestly tho... if anyone killed the mother of my child I'd be out for blood too.

Yu-Hon is beyond forgiveness for me. He murders so easily for no good reason. He also committed horrible war crimes and killed civilians and children. I just really can't like him. Also how how YonHi is so blind to his very likely involvement is beyond me....
