I would say upscale before adding the text next time. Upscalers have trouble interpreting the smaller letters, and text scaled to the image resolution just looks nicer. Other than that, fantastic work!

Well it is what it is because the source is shit. You can't really see the linework in the low-res original either, it's not the upscale's fault. The only reason the previous group's scans were better is because they waited for high-res official Chinese scans, which are a chapter behind.

One example: I don't understand how "ippatsu de koroseru, hanmaa wo kure, sainō wo motta aitsu" in the raw got turned into "i really have no talent, even though I practiced so much, no matter how hard i try, there's just no way!" Like most of this translation, and the other translated lyrics for the song, came out of thick air so please double check this!!

Official chinese scans are uploaded right up to the current release, but the newest chapter is always pay to unlock with a Bilibili account. I couldn’t figure out how to make the account signup work when I tried though.

I checked against the raws and they totally made shit up. The song mentions the hammer and the last page references that. The rest is mostly garbage by someone who didn't put any effort and doesn't understand Japanese.
