ngl, I think I'm actually envious of the painter. People tend to get bored once they run out of things to do, but he never seemed to until the day he died.
I've heard of cases like this, I think they called it "the curse of the muse" or something along that line where the artist gets this incredible ammount of inspiration that drive them to keep working often to their d3ath but leaving behind incredible works of art that transcend their time, in old times it was often atributted to supernatural entities that would get their hooks on said artists and would "inspired" them to madness, in irish culture they are often referred as "Leanan sídhe" and are seen as some sort of fairies drawn to artists musicians, writters, etc of great skill.

Heyyyyyyyy, this was a great chapter!

That is solid work from the MC and I love it; I also love the husband/ML just rolling with "The Ex" in his house, and celebrating his children while the female canine/antagonista dissolves in helpless, impotent Fury.

She gets to die mad, and that's when success truly becomes the best revenge.

Heh.
This chapter was perfect for Father's Day!
:dogkek:

Well, they say love and revenge are painted in blood.
Do they?! I had no idea, but I like this, and shall start using it, post-haste!
Also, do you know which, general "they" would be saying it? Is this South America, or perhaps North? Maybe Southeast Asia, or Mainland?
I'm really curious, cos I've never heard that; and I like it!

Yes, and source is…. I made it the f@ck up!!!

Edit:
And now that you reminded me that this comment exists… am I embarrassed to honest. :notlikethis:
It's very chuunnibiyu, but I approve; I shall think of your Dark History™ when I quote it at people.

I have an honest-to-goodness business lunch on Thursday; I am going to find some way to drop that in convo, and we'll see how it plays with ignorant tech-bro wannabes!

I think I'm actually looking forward to it, now...

I mean, it seems like he did a Van Gogh, so yeah, he didn't get bored of painting her until he died, but that probably was because he didn't lived for long.
