Man, you can only laugh at these settings. So you're telling me that a developer made an incredible vanilla eroge game that was highly successful, but then they decided to make the sequel an ntr one? You really have to try hard with your suspension of disbelief to swallow this crap.

So you're telling me the "hero" decided to summon the demon king and kill everyone (which includes the women he claims he has affection for) , just because the heroines didn't love him anymore? Idk man, I feel like NTR guy actually helped them dodge a bullet there.

You never saw a developer making a sequel that spits in the face of its fans?
Or at least drastically changes the gameplay?

Mass effect 3? Dragon Age 2? Fallout and Elder scrolls that keep dumbing down the mechanics? The sequel to "lost in random" is going to change its peculiar game mechanics to be more similar to Hades.

Dead Space 3, it added coop, microtransactions, removed a lot of the horror, the ending is a cliffhanger, then you have to buy a DLC only to....again end on a cliffhanger of despair with no victory in sight.
Serious Sam 3 ends with Earth getting destroyed. (Great game though).
Splinter Cell conviction pushed action hard making stealth optional, killing off an important character whose death was supposed to be optional and its coop campaign in the end pits the two players against each other.

Bioshock Infinite, linear maps, recycled weapons, one ending, no quicksave/load, dumb plot.

Deus Ex invisible war, Bomberman act zero.

Never played any Dragon Age and Mass Effect 3 I did play a tiny little bit but didn't like how it played so never tried again.
But in this case, the dev did a total 180, from a vanilla eroge to ntr. In your examples, sure, the game could have become worse, but it was not like turning an action RPG into a turn-based RPG.

why ntr? why would any dev destroy their own franchise using ntr??
but looking at 2024 and beyond, it's probably worst than just ntr in the game industry

Yes. The name Baskerville is a pretty common noble family name used in many Japanese and Korean Novels.

This series Web Novel first came out at November 2020... way before Baskerville Bloodhound was even a thing.
I have no idea what Baskerville Bloodhound is, but I'm pretty sure Hound of the Baskervilles being published in 1902 predates a 2020 publication.

To anyone in disbelief over the concept of this manga. Look what happened to dragon age veilguard. Spoilers for that game, well not like anyone cares. A hero from the first game presumed dead. His companion, Morrigan, that you could conceive a child with became a whore. The cities from dragon age 1 and 2 blown up, so all the other companions should be dead as well, especially since one of the them is a king of the said city. And to top it of, all events in the previous games were actually orchestrated by "the mysterious organization". The last couple of clown years got it covered

These devs needed a sequel to create an NTR route to the original Pure Love route. Meanwhile in reality, games are sometimes made with both routes in one, or two separate versions for each route.
Which reminded me of A Housewife's Healing Touch, which has both an NTR and a Pure Love route version. So it seems similar to that in a way.
If any fellow degenerate was wondering, it's available on DLSite, Kagura games, Jast, the usual spots.
