Generic and predictable as fuck, but thoroughly enjoyable. I've always liked 'the other perspective', ie, the villains' side of stories - while people may love to root for the heroes, it's always the villains who get the best lines and who are the most realistic characters; otherwise, how could you hate them so genuinely?
That being said, there always remains the question of "WHY NOT" when it comes to them. Why not have them break their molds? Why not have them be decent? It may be a cheap and easy way of making them likeable, but setting someone up to be perceived as a bad guy, only to have them be unable to overcome their innate human decency is fun! Sure, there's no brilliant storytelling here, nor is there deep characterizations just yet. But it's a good time regardless - I really enjoy seeing other characters being forced to reevaluate their preconceptions.
The art is fine, the story is a mild variant of predictable, but dammit, if I don't enjoy it anyway. This ain't high art, but it's fun and better than the average. 6.5/10, possibly 7/10.
