as someone who hasn't read the novel version yet, id say that it isnt that confusing

Tbh, I'm still enjoying it, but I'm quite disappointed how much this manga is chopping up the story. There are parts that are hard to follow due to them removing and moving around things. Will be interesting to see how it turns out going foward.

On a positive note, volume 2 of the LN is about to come out!:

Is there a path forward? Some of the changes break the plot going forward, they can go back in time to cover the 5 volumes but the next volume would be a problem due to how they killed kyoji with zombies instead of throwing him into the void between worlds

He wasn't actually shown dieing so that should be fine.. but yeah never understood why manga sometimes mess up the story.

I really need to finish the next chapter.

Ah. It as fine for the last couple of chapters but the translation? The not-even-erasing-the-japanese-text thing is bothering me. I'm out. Nice couple of chapters though, have fun reading, everyone~

Despite the weirdness of starting with the second arc it actually works fine pretty well with the mystery aspect at least. I hope they go back and tell the arc 1 story though, it's my favourite part, and it would be really disappointing if the skipped it entirely.
